What ever happened to using cranberry juice?
http://kidney.niddk.nih.gov/kudiseases/pubs/utiadult/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urinary_tract_infection
Cranberry juice contains benzoic acid, which isn't easily broken down by
the body. As a result, it acidifies the urine, creating an inhospitable
environment for infectious organisms.
