Crataegus oxyacantha is an excellent herb for the hear. Its' hypotensive
effects are as a vasodilator, as with prunella vulgaris. If you have a
choice, I'd take the Crataegus oxyacantha because of it's other cardio
effects but prunella is a mint and easy to grow. Ask your doctor, tell
them that you are considering an herbal vasodilator. I asked mine. Mine
didn't care and it allowed me to cut my BP meds in half. Ask your doctor.
