Cold frames

by NOspam@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Mar 18, 2007 at 11:27 AM

Cold Frames:

These are easily put together, easily dismantled, re-usable, cost and
energy-efficient!

If you have any old windows, framed or not, these work just fine.

Simply make up a frame that will sup****t the size of window you have,
higher on the back, and lower at the front. (Don’t make it too big, or
you may have problems reaching all the plants inside.)
Put your seeds in starter pots, and keep well watered. The glass cover
will protect from frost.
On warmer days, open the glass up, and sup****t it with a stick or
ruler on either end to allow for ventilation.

To water, simply lift the lid, and water!
