Sow directly ˝ inch deep, early June or July.
Space about 2 feet apart.
Kale will also grow quite well beneath trees, where some other types
of plants will refuse… Flowering kale especially, looks great growing
in design beneath a tree, in a bed which otherwise doesn't promote
good growth of ordinary flowering plants!
