Hi, I am Elan, interested in landscape planning, currently a
postgraduate. In the UK, especially in countryside, landscape
character is emphasised recently. While in other countries, such as
America, Germany, ecological concepts are integrated and gained focus
traditionally in landscape planning. There should be other ways or
ideas applied in landscape planning in different countries or
different regions within the same country.Would you like to add on?
And any comment on these ideas (including character or ecological
