Seems to be relatively quiet in r.g as well, though I would think
things should be picking up as spring approaches.

You have no idea! If it were not for the internet, I would have no
idea what was happening internationally. Without launching into a
tirade about the state of the media here, let's just say that many of
us here simply view the mainstream as another branch of government,
and, sorry to say, Rupert Murdoch is no friend of mine. His
stranglehold on US media is frightening.

Reading thru posts, I am thoroughly enjoying the diverse opinions and
"OT" posts and banter. Ya'll don't seem to be as anal as many of us
here. I am really enamoured with your expressions and colloquialisms.
I feel as if I have just started a new course at University.

Well now, that is right up my alley. I shall continue my education! I
have been an advocate of organic gardening for many years and have made
myself somewhat unpopular in the other groups with some folks and with
some family members in relation to organic and sustainable.
Thanks for the welcome and I appreciate the op****tunity to view and
participate in, in this limited capacity and venue, your lives and
country.
BTW, as I was perfoming my last duty of the night, as the household
male, aforementioned cat did his nightly thing...appearing out of the
dark and chirping and wending his way in and out of my legs whilst I
fertilized, before following me into the house.
