:-)) I post and have read a group called misc.rural for years. Sometimes
I
have wondered if some of your fellow compatriots there are either asleep
or
just ignoring international news.

Yes. A smart business man but he can dumb down news with the best of
them.

:-)) Sadly we are losing a lot of them as the younger generation become
addicted to im****ted TV. Now they talk of 'guys' instead of 'blokes' and
none of the younger generation would be caught dead saying: 'flat out like
a
lizard drinking', 'useful as a hip pocket in a singlet', 'head like a
seagoing tadpole' or any of the other lovely old saying we used to use.

I love manure. My husband says I have a **** fetish and I admit that if
it
comes from the rear of a cow, horse, sheep, alpaca, rabbit or elephant, I
will collect it.
I keep my next door neighbour in some veg, eggs and pine cones for fire
lighting because she has about 20 horses and doesn't garden. We both
think
we are getting the best side of the bargain, but I KNOW I'm getting pure
gold as she feed her horses lucerne (alfalfa) and a lot of it ends up in
the
stable raking and you would know how much worms love lucerne (alfalfa).
My best coup yet was hearing on the car radio that the circus was looking
for gardeners to take away elephant poo. I was 2 minutes from where the
circus was being held and I was in there and had my ute loaded before I
could even think aobut the good clothes I was wearing. I gave it to my
husband for growing his corn as a friend told me about 25 years ago that
it
produced the best corn he'd ever grown. It was great corn!

:-)) Glad to hear you're using that free fertiliser! But did you drink
the
6 pack first?
