The worst one would be lockjaw (and just to prove my aged mental
processes, 
it's medical name escapes me ATM), but given how many years I''ve spread 
poop using just my hands, I don't worry about that at all.  Ah, brain's 
back - its tetanus! - just keep having the shots every 10 years.

I now use gardening gloves (since the rmoval of lymph nodes and a case of 
cellulitis from a minute rose prick) and I don't spread fresh or aged poop

on anything that I'm going to harvest in the next few weeks.  I figure the

elements will kill off all pathogens by the time I get to harvest.  I'm
more 
likely to pick up something directly from our animals and after 50+ years
of 
living with animals, that's yet to happen.

And always wash your hands for at aleast 30 seconds before doing anything 
with food.  It amazes me that people still don't do so.
