in australia corn syrup & corn additives are rare. we grow sugar cane here

quite so. for example the "obesity epidemic" (which isn't, actually). this

"epidemic" mainly occurs in geographic and socio-economic pockets - it's
not 
spread over the entire populace. when statisticians use averages though,
it 
warps the reality, & is therefore harder to solve because it's supposedly 
"everyone's" problem (despite the fact that it's not).

in my state (possibly the entire country, i don't know) there is no 
requirement to vaccinate whatsoever. it's just that if you're a 
conscientious objector, your child will be legally excluded from school or

pre-school if or when some other conscientious objector brings a disease 
into the group.

i don't object to vaccination at all, & my kids are vaccinated. i'm
starting 
to wonder where it's going to end, though. for example, i think people who

have flu vaccinations want their head read. and the current schedule for 
babies is becoming worrying. i'm glad i had my kids before certain 
vaccinations even became available.

modern westerners have a problem with death in general, that's what it is.
