Nursery Review - BAAG - Melbourne

by LindaB <kapana@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 17, 2008 at 07:36 PM

Hi Everyone,

Today, not being a Melbourneite, I made the most wonderful discovery.
Possibly you all know about it - but I have just discovered Bulleen
Art & Gardening - BAAG.

Best range of veggie seedlings and herbs I have seen around, and some
really wonderful garden art of the non-cement type.

They have quite a few of the Eden vegetable seeds.

The website is quite good too:

Almost exactly opposite the up-market The greenery at Heidelberg, if
you are on a nursery crawl.

And Kuranga, that really good native nursery at Mount Evelyn, is busy
putting out a LOT of sale tags on their plants - must be a sale coming
up.

There are a couple of other nurseries beside it, but haven't checked
them out.

Anyone else got any nice nurseries to check out in Melbourne. Not a
hundred miles from Box Hill Hospital?

Cheers

Linda

(And thanks to the three very practical answers on what to do with my
friend's apple tree)
