In my humble opinion, the sure sign of actual spring in Central Texas is 
when the Live Oaks leaves turn in preparation of dropping those leaves... 
A 
prelude during the process is they are also making preps for new branches 
and leaves in the meantime (if you look closely).

How about a tax to sup****t any military conflict/police action over 3
months 
old?

An actual war, we can do what's been done in the past.
