extraction of mtDNA

by "Higbie, Sarah" <shigbie@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 26, 2008 at 09:23 AM

Hello All,

I am wondering if anyone has any tips for isolating quality
mitochondrial DNA from leaves. We have tried a few protocols (Triboush
et al. 1998. Plant Mol Biol Rep 16: 183-189; Dellaporta et al. 1983.
Plant Mol Biol rep 1:19-21; Scotti et al. 2001. Plant Mol Biol Rep
19:67a-67h) with limited success. We will be using the mtDNA with PCR.=20

Any help is greatly appreciated.=20
