I used Neem for the first time today. There's a patch of beach
sunflower that has a bad whitefly infestation. I sprayed around 6 PM,
after the sun was off the plant, allowing the neem to soak until it
dripped off the leaves.
I sprayed a little on a lemon balm that is showing signs of (take
your pick, according to the grower, the supplier, and the Co-Op
extension agent) either:
mite damage
leaf miner
bacterial spot
fungal spot
The lemon balm is a small plant, a recent transplant, and the neem
label says not to use on small transplants, but I'm desperate. Every
year, the lemon balm suc***bs to this problem. Supposedly the neem is
a cure-all for the same type problems on basil. I'll re****t back if
anyone is interested. I want some darn lemon balm bushes, this is the
only locale I've never had luck with them (Miami.)
