pests - especially on corn

by "Scott Taylor" <scott71@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 12, 2004 at 04:44 PM

Hi folks...

I was wondering if anyone could advise me on how to best protect my small
vegetable garden from pests. I would like to do it as naturally as
possible; preferably no chemicals, especially because my wife is pregnant!

Two problems I have noticed, my corn appears to be dissolving their are so
many holes in the leaves - I did notice what appeared to be eggs in long
clusters on a few leaves.

The other thing I have noticed is that small seedlings I had transplanted
to
small pots on a table outside were eaten down to the nub, but apparently
only the pepper plants. The small corn, bean and tomato plants were
untouched.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Scott
