I have a large greengage tree (trunk about five inches diameter, height
about twenty feet).
It has been neglected these twentyfive years, and some of the leaves have
brown areas, but no sign of bugs at all.
I have just had it top-pruned and a ten foot circle of turf removed from
around the base and replaced with ****ous membrane and covered with bark
chippings. I'd like to get some decent fruit from it in the years to come.
Should I feed it with bone meal, or mineral supplements?
