you go to the Hilo dump, where the green waste is recycled,
bring a pickup truck, and if you feel like it you can shovel
it yourself for free, or they'll load it for some not very large
fee. Dump opening hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7 days a week,
including Thanksgiving and Christmas, but the guys who load
trucks aren't there the same hours. As I tend to shovel my
own dirt (compost, rather) I don't know their hours.
Maren,
got 12 buckets of dirt in the back of my pickup truck
right now, shoveled before work (and 3 buckets of rocks).
