oh, and pruning, like i said, on the farm, the mango trees were huge,
at least 30 feet high with a similarly large canopy...if you cut a
mature branch off, its going to take at least 2 - 3 years for that cut
to set off shoots and mature into a fruiting branch.  on my trees i
leave some key branches and trim back the rest...get mangos but no
high yields like the farm and size wise, considering there are less
fruits, i would expect a larger fruit but they're  the same size as
any other hayden.  my neighbor has one huge tree but its always being
trimmed back every 2 years or so...same thing, no large crop so i
would think that leaving it to grow out would be best.
