Hi Wanda:

	Yes, you can pick the tomatoes green. I just place mine on the window
sill, and after a few days (sometimes a week), they start ripening. Some
people place them in bags in the dark, etc, but I just leave mine out on
the window sill, top the dishwasher, etc. Try ripening a few tomatoes,
and once you get the hang of it, it'll become quite obvious how it
works. It's very easy to do.
