Yes you can pick them green, we just put ours into brown paper bags and
place them under the kitchen cupboard for a few days, then put them into
the fridge to get cold....Mmmmmmm just love the taste of ripe cold
tomatoes. BTW, have you seen the price of cherry tomatoes at the grocery
store, $2.99 for a dozen at our grocer. Wickedly expensive.
