Best time to move flowers or shrubs is in the spring as the flower is
coming
out of the dormant stage, or in the fall when the flower has begun to be
dormant for the winter. Transplanting during the growing season, though it
can be done successfully, causes stress on the plant and stunts the
growing
and health of the plant.
