Hmm... I have used pickling vinegar with great success... cheap stuff 
also... not 15%, though, but worked well.... it will kill all grass as
well 
so careful!

I have used it on the sidewalk in front of my home and on the road/curb
edge 
where green seems to find a way to grow... also in the small cracks in my 
driveway....   worked great but that was during a dry spell in July last 
year...  maybe the lack of water helped seeing as there was no other water

in the soil to dilute the acid!
