Oh my ponds are down but they are DEEP so I still have a decent amount
of water .........plants are not too healthy looking though, but even
those Lilys I told you about that are high and dry are still popping
out blooms, and even my Pickerel reed, lizzard tails,Iris, Canna's,
water celery, sensitive vine, thalia and Taro are all doing just
fine.............The low water has given me a chance to do a bit of
clean up and re-do the exposed area, which I have dug out now, and
also have been able to add my "causeway" / sluiceway between the
ponds. I just have one more gate to complete and its ready for when
ever the rain comes. The sluiceways connect all three of the mud
ponds, and I can use the slew area as a holding areas as well if I
close the gates on each end, or if ponds are full I can divert one to
the other etc......Makes managing fish a bit easier as well..Of course
I need water but that should soon happen..........as sooner or later
were b ound to get rain or even a hurricane right now would be OK with
me ;-)
