Thanks. All of this is what I was hoping to hear and I am going to give
it a try. Thing is, I want to use the bamboo for a screen and don't
really want to have to start over once it gets tall enough (or not)!
I've ordered Umbrella Bamboo - don't have the 'fancy pants' latin name
handy:) (fargesia something...)
I suppose if bamboo was juglone intolerant it would be easier to find
information!
We don't harvest our walnuts. We leave them hoping the squirrels will
eat more of them and less of our birdseed!
