The theory that switching from our hunter/gatherer society to one of
domestication was a huge mistake. Some anthropologist wrote a book on the
topic, but can't remember the author or title. I have Gun, Germs, and
Steel,
got it at the thrift store but haven't gotten around to reading it yet.
