Re: Is there ANY way to plant cut roses?

Hey Clueless

My brother and I "rustle" cuttings from our club's shows with pretty good
success. Store bought cut roses, however, often come from roses not as
well
suited for rooting. That said, and being aware of the patent declaimer
(if
they are still on patent, you're barred from propagating them, for both
personal and sales uses), there are a ton of articles out there on the
subject. ARS has several, but this one
http://members.fortunecity.com/cnetter/rose_tour/rose_cut.html
is nice and

simple. It's just about the same way I do it, except I put my dirt in a
16oz cup and put that in a plastic bag. Give it a try, it's a blast!
(Well, if you lead a quite life, that is.)

Good luck

Jeff, Southeast Michigan, Zone 5

PS. We're still blooming like crazy here!
