It's warm enough here that I turned on the filter in the
goldfish pond.  :)  I really need to get working on
pruning my roses.  I hope to do that later this week.

One potted rose I transplanted into one of my rose
beds late last year seems to have died.  An earlier
version is one of my oldest surviving roses.  I give up
trying to predict which roses will do well and which
will not live long.  With one exception:  Teas seem to
do well around here, so I use those as replacements
when it makes sense (spacing and color).
