I've had some luck reducing deer damage by hanging small bars of motel
soap on some of the shrubs they tend to eat. In some cases, I knock a
small hole in the bar of soap and hang it on the shrub with string.
Usually lasts a year. Be curious to hear how your latest experiment
turns out.
