So far so good. I did put more fence on the side yard but it is open at
the front and back. I recharged them last weekend with a glue injecting
syringe. I won't call it a success yet, but it is looking promising.
It looks like they may have taken a few nips when I had only about a
dozen out. Probably because they were too far apart. Now that I have
45 scattered over the yard it works better.
I have refined my assembly technique and now when I bend the pipe into a
V, I use an awl and punch two holes in the bottom and use a piece of
wire to hold the shape. The trick is to bend the wire so it won't
scratch you. I have thought about using cotton t ****rts instead of
paper towels but have not tried it yet. May wick better and last
longer
