I am also looking for less lawn. I recently got the book food not lawns
and it has been a lot of fun for us. We have a center area in the back
that give our youngest lots of room to play and run but everything
around the edges has become food.
My herbs are just getting their footing. I was a little slow getting
some of them in. I ran out of room and had to make new smaller beds.
Where is a good mulch place?
